Tian Jin, chairman of SIFF organizing committee and deputy chief of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) hosts a reception banquet yesterday noon in honor of the international film festival presidents present at the Shanghai International Film Festival Directors' Summit. Cai Hua, director of Social Administration Department of SARFT, Zhang Pimin, deputy chief of the Film Administrative Bureau, Xue Peijian, president of Shanghai Media and Entertainment Group, Zhang Zhe, deputy director of Cultural Administrative Bureau,  Ren Zhonglun, vice president of Shanghai Media and Entertainment Group also greet experts at the banquet.

It is the first time for SIFF to invite so many presidents of international film festivals worldwide. Among them are Tsuguhiko Kadokawa, director of Tokyo International Film Festival, Marco Mueller, president of Venice International Film Festival, Abdul Hamid Juma, chairman of Dubai International Film Festival, Dong-ho Kim, chairman of Pusan International Film Festival, Sandra den Hamer, director of Rotterdam International Film Festival, Geoffrey Gilmore, director of Sundance Film Festival, Chuck Boller, director of Hawaii International Film Festival, and Jerome Paillard, president of Cannes Film Market.
