Synopsis:
The blade, Soulblood, is the heart of the entire wretched affair. In the times of great antiquity, an invincible Soulblood was forged to rule the world. With the birth of Soulblood, the world started to change as the blade was forever tainted by fear, deceipt and desire and hatred. The swordsmith attempted to destroy his creation but failed. He too was weak and the blade began to work its power upon him till the Death's End...
Director's Statement:
Death's End is unique in the sense that everything is pure fantasy, throughout the film there is a debate between good and evilness, this truly reflects to everyone who lives on this planet and in modern society. My motivation to make this film is to let our audience conquer and overcome fears and weaknesses of their own.
Typical blockbuster films are dominated by one specific ethnic, this film uses diverse ethnics to represent the richness and variety of the human race. A Fantasy and Supernatural genre film has never been made in China’s filming history, Death's End is the first and only one to date, it will be a milestone for the industry. This film has no boundaries and is made for audience beyond the local market. The main characters in this film are a mixture of European and Asian ethnicity; this will be one of the many highlights of the film and it will target all ethnicities of all age groups.
Director's Biography
Kenneth Li. He has produced a number of films and TV programs, the latest feature being Screaming Night. He is currently working on two features: Death's End and Innocent Heart.
