Synopsis:
This will be a biographic film of 'Choi Seung Hui' who was a legendary dancer acknowledged across the world, particularly in Asia. Choi was born in the Japan occupied Korea and trained as dancer in Japan. She came home to South Korea after long time trainning there and made great contribution to the development of modern Korean dance. After the Japanese rule, Choi was labelled as pro-Japanese and had to move to North Korea. In there, the pure dancer found that her dance was used as propaganda. At the end of day she died a miserable death.
Director's Statement:
The evolution of civilization embodies both destruction and creation. Under this concept, we will adopt plain methods and beautiful visual effects to realize this film. Choi Seung-hui lived her life in a chaotic era, but her naturally born desire to dance dominated her life. The movie will take the audience into the very deep heart of the dancer by focusing on her legendary life under the difficult time.
