Synopsis:
In an ancient era of warlords, fictional four kingdoms are fighting for ultimate power and rule. A young man is wrongfully sent to exile because of inventing a novel weapon. His girl friend and best friend thought he has died, but he survives and has invented another new weapon. To prove this weapon, he decides to come back and only to find that his girl friend has got married with his best friend and everything has changed. Some people around him are plotting to frame him and his family. Despite all these, he proves himself to be a hero who saves his country, his family, and ultimately, his love.
Director's Statement:
Based on the novel Seirouki by Shuhei Nire, published by Kodansha in Japan, originally written for the video game scenario, this film has its screenplay written by a Japanese writer and translated to Chinese already. Its film rights have been contracted by Running Beagle in 2007. Its outline is available in English, Chinese and Japanese languages. We look for co-production partners outside Japan to finance and distribute the film worldwide. Currently, Seirouki is ready to discuss with potential Chinese and Japanese partners about the candidates of Chinese speaking director and also financing. We are very much looking forward to having partners from other territories at this developing stage to add their commercial elements such as cast and so on.

Producer-Tomoko Fushimi
Tomoko Fushimi was graduated from New School University in NYC, MA of Media Studies. Joined the Sesame Street production as a studio intern during her study, and in 1999, started TV career in MTV Networks of Viacom as AVID editor and Coordinator of MTV international department. After transferred to MTV Japan as the lunch member, worked as a director in production and later as a producer in the business development dep. In 2004, moved to Avex Entertainment Inc. of Tokyo and worked on the acquisition and international co-production. Started as her independent producer career in 2005, and produced some Korean TV dramas. Found producer's office Running Beagle LLC in 2007, and up to date, having worked on many co-production projects.
